Hi Christine - You are able to configure different Admin Groups, each with different permissions. You can create additional Group(s) under Database > Groups, and assign Admin permissions under Database > Admin Permissions. I would recommend giving the Help Team a call to discuss the finer points of the set up to make sure you've configured everything correctly!

Question: when we were first signing up, we were told that admin could have varying levels of access. Is that true? If yes, how do I configure that? I can see how to make all admin have the same access, but not some controlling some things but not others. Or, do super admin always have control over everything and this permissions list is just for other admin we assign?

    HI Kinsey,

Thanks so much for replying. I'm still working on this issue of trying to give people reporting access. What I'm finding is, though, is just what you did. That actually makes me feel good, because I hope it means I am getting the product!!

We'd like a report of registrant name, contact info, attendee name if different, ticket type purchased and amount paid, date paid. We have already set up a group of "WIC Reports" for our volunteers who we want to give reporting access only to.

I have developed custom searches, which also work, but again, how do I just give access to those searches under "exports" so that folks can't go in and edit profiles or forms? I want them to have their reports, but I don't want them changing/editing things on forms or profiles, unless it's their own profile.

    thanks,

Angi - I went ahead and created a Help Ticket with your question so that the team can take a look at your account and follow up. Expect to hear back soon!

Hi, we would like to fine-tune the access more. We would like to give form registrant information access, but not to edit the form or the profile of any registrant. Is there a way to do that?

    Thanks for your help!

Hi there - Unfortunately I don't think the specific permissions you've described are possible to assign.

In order to be able to view an event's registrants, an Admin would need Form Admin permissions. With those, they would be able to edit the form as well.

As an alternative, I tested Profile Admin capabilities, which would prevent the Admin from editing forms, but allow them to search for an event's registrants using the Advanced Search. That won't work because it would also allow the admin to view/edit member profiles (though you are able to limit the attributes the Admin can see vs. edit in Attribute Security). The Profile Admin permission also allows some other access, detailed above.

Finally, I tried Reporting Admin permissions. That will allow the Admin to access to higher level reporting, like seeing how many total registrants had submitted a form and the revenue from those submissions, but doesn't allow the Admin to view specific info on registrant details.
