Is there a way to create a link to a role? For instance, can I create a link that automatically goes to whoever is named as the President in my Board committee/group? I don't want to have to update individual names wherever they appear on the website every time a new person steps into each role.
Hi Linda - it isn't currently possible to link to a committee position. I've seen people create mailboxes or alias, like president@, that are set to forward to the individual in that role so that when the person change, the mailbox forwarding or alias is all that has to change. Hope that helps!
Is it possible to insert an email address as a hyperlink?
Hi Kimberly - It is! To do so, type in the email address > highlight it > copy it. Then click the external link tool (with the email address still highlighted) and type "mailto:" then paste in the email (it will look something like "mailto:email@memberclicks.com") and click Insert.
Here's a short video showing what I mean:
Can I attach a link, to an image, in an email (or anywhere for that matter)? I've tried using the insert an external link option and I can't seem to make it work.
Hey Caroline! You sure can! Once you click on your image, you can then click Site Links, or the Insert a Link icon. If that still gives you trouble, drop us a line at help@memberclicks.com
Hello Lainey! You can create direct links to an event with your Site Links, however, there is not a way to create a short URL for Events like there is for Forms.
